Student wins Gold Award in Still-Life Drawing Competition2020-01-05

The Guilin-Macau Student Still-Life Drawing Competition organized by the Soka Gakkai International of Macau, the Macau China Education Association and the Guangxi Art Academy was held yesterday in the Dr. Carlos d’ Assumpcao Park.  The awards ceremony was held in the evening.  Pui Ching students excelled in the competition.  Award-winners are as follows:

 

Gold Award (Senior High Category): Lao Weng Iong

Merit Award (Senior High Category): Wong Hong Teng, Cheng Hou Ian, Wu Hoi Lam, Tai Ian Lam

Silver Award (Junior High Category): Kou U Hoi, Un Hio Meng, Mak Hin Long

Merit Award (Junior High Category): Chan Ian Kei, Chan Hei Ieong, Cheong Lok Teng, Cheng Sin Wan, Wong Hou Ieong, Mai Wang Ioi

Pui Ching students attended the 2nd Jiangmen-Hong Kong-Macau Youth Maker Exposition from December 27th to 28th.  Award winners are as follows:

Students come through beautifully in Suzhou Fencing Tournament2019-12-31

Pui Ching students came through with flying colors in the 2019 Suzhou Fencing Tournament and Yangtze Delta Fencing Open Competition.  Award winners are as shown in the picture to the right. 

 

More challenges are coming up for the Pui Ching Fencing Team as 2020 approaches.  As we give thanks to our school for the enormous support to the Fencing Team, we look forward to more opportunities to showcase the talents of our students in the coming year.  Congratulations again to our award winners for coming through beautifully in the last competition of 2019!

Variety show in celebration of 20th anniversary of Macau’s handover2019-12-20

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the handover of Macau S.A.R. to mainland China, the China Heart variety show was held at 8pm last night at the Macao East Asia Stadium.  President Xi Jinping was among the audience.  Pui Ching’s drama club, choir, and alumni had the honor of showcasing their talent in the event, conveying hope for our region and our world: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4yrb5t1s8Mc

Pui Ching holds flag raising ceremony on 20th anniversary of Macau’s handover2019-12-18

Pui Ching held a flag raising ceremony at 8am today in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the handover of Macau to mainland China.  Pastor Au Yeong led the prayer after the ceremony.

In his speech, Principal Kou pointed out that since Macau’s handover 20 years ago, the S.A.R. government and the people have been dedicated to the maintenance of the stability of Macau and the development of the region’s economy, showcasing the success of the One Country Two Systems policy.  Principal Kou expressed that neither the prosperity of the country nor the achievements of our school came easy and encouraged students to cherish their dreams and make the world a better place.
