Graduation ceremony concludes in blessings of teachers and parents2024-06-01

The 2023-2024 high school graduation ceremony was held at 9:00am in the auditorium. A total of 254 students graduated. In the presence of directors from the Education and Youth Development Bureau, members of the school board, principals, teachers, and parents, the graduates concluded their high school journey, opening a new chapter in their lives.
School Chancellor Dr. Lo Weng Cheong delivered the opening speech, extending a warm welcome to the distinguished guests and parents and congratulating the graduating students. For the 2023-2024 academic year, 116 graduates have been admitted to 49 higher education institutions in mainland China through the direct admission program, and an additional 84 students have received offers from various universities in Macao through direct admission; 61 of the students have been admitted to the University of Macao.
Internationally, our school has had students accepted into the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for two consecutive years. At present, we have received over 40 offers of admission (confirmed or conditional) from universities within the top 50 of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, including institutions from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, among other countries. The number of admission offers is believed to be rising.
Deputy Director Un Pui In of theEducation and Youth Development Bureau, accompanied by Principal Kou Kam Fai, presented the high school diplomas. The guests of honor awarded various prizes and scholarships to outstanding graduates who had demonstrated exceptional performance in national and international competitions.
Faculty and retired staff members who have served in the school for ten years and onwards were also presented with commemorative medals and plaques. Among the recipients, Principal Kou Kam Fai and Vice-Principal Kuok Keng Man have served for a remarkable 40 and 45 years respectively.
As the ceremony drew to a close, Principal Kou delivered a vote of thanks to the Education and Youth Development Bureau, the faculty and staff members, as well as the parents in attendance for their continuous support. Lastly, the principal extended his best wishes to all the graduating students. The graduation ceremony concluded in the school anthem and the heartfelt blessings of teachers and parents.
Pui Ching joins hands with CTM to promote smart campus and cultivate ICT talents2024-05-24

Pui Ching signed a "Smart campus and ICT talent development strategic partnership agreement" with CTM (Macau Telecom) today at the CTM Exhibition Center at the BEYOND International Science and Technology Innovation Expo.
After the signing ceremony, teachers and students toured the BEYOND International Science and Technology Innovation Expo, exploring the booths of cutting-edge technology companies such as CTM and Huawei and gaining in-depth understanding of the latest technologies in different fields.
To promote industry-school collaboration, Pui Ching will be working with CTM to enhance the technological competencies of young ICT talents in Macau. The cooperation is expected to comprehensively enhance the development of smart campuses, AI+ education as well as network security.
Students win national second place awards in RoboCup China, advancing to World Cup finals in the Netherlands 2024-05-21

Pui Ching students clinched 4 awards in the RoboCup China Open and will be representing China in the World Cup finals in the Netherlands in July.
Our students achieved remarkable results in the RoboCup China Open held from May 16 to 20. A total of 8 teams consisting of 30 students from Pui Ching participated in the event. In the Rescue Maze Category, our contestants won two national second place awards and will be representing China in the World Cup finals to be held in July in the Netherlands.
Our contestants in the Mini Rescue A and Mini Rescue Maze Categories also attained great results, winning the second and third place respectively.
The instructors of the award winners were Mr. Lam Tak Iam and Ms. Leong Un Ian.

Children’s dance wins Distinction Award and Creativity Award in Inter-School Dance Competition2024-05-19

The 42nd Inter-School Dance Competition in the Primary School Division was held today, and our school's children's dance "Returning Egrets" won the Creativity Award and the highest award, the Distinction Award.
Student dancers receive highest awards in Secondary School Category of Inter-School Dancing Competition2024-05-19

The 42nd Inter-School Dancing Competition in the Secondary School Category was held yesterday at the University of Macao.
Our student dancers participated in the event in two teams and respectively performed the ethnic folk dance "Leba Leba" and the Chinese classical dance "Lotus Drums and the Yuege Journey". Both performances received the highest award, the distinction award.
