On February 22nd, the 2024 RoboRAVE Education Program and International Robotics Asia Regional Competition was held in Beijing. Our school's 48 students participated in the competition in 21 teams.

In the Super Line Following challenge, our students performed exceptionally well. After the announcement of the map rules, timed testing, and group scoring matches, they achieved a total of 6 first prizes, 5 second prizes, and 10 third prizes. The students who received the first prize also earned the qualification to compete in the 2024 RoboRave World Championships, which will take place in Australia in July.

On the first day of school after the new year holiday, we co-hosted a new year gathering with the Macao Pui Ching Alumni Association. Faculty, alumni, retired teachers, representatives of the Parent-Teacher Association, family members, and student representatives gathered in the auditorium to exchange blessings.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the 25th anniversary of the Macao S.A.R., the 135th anniversary of the establishment of Pui Ching Middle School, and the birth of the Coloane campus of Macao Pui Ching Middle School.  The school and the alumni association will be organizing a series of celebratory events to commemorate this remarkable occasion.

The festive atmosphere is strong in Brazil's Iguazu region as the country ushers in the Year of the Dragon.  Over the past two days, the Chinese Embassy in Brazil held various celebratory events for the spring festival. The city is adorned with colorful decorations. Upon invitation, the Pui Ching Dance Team joined forces with local groups to deliver a series of captivating performances.  The event highlighted the strong bond of friendship between China and Brazil, which celebrates cultural harmony and transcends geographical boundaries.

(Macau Daily News) This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil. Upon invitation by the Chinese Embassy in Brazil, the Pui Ching Dance Group departed for Brazil on February 6th to participate in the “2024 'Happy Spring Festival' Celebration in Brazil: Foz do Iguaçu joyfully welcomes the Chinese Year of the Dragon".  The event was organized by the Chinese Embassy in Brazil, the Chinese Consulate-General in São Paulo, and the municipal government of Foz do Iguaçu. Our student dancers will be dancing, singing, giving traditional Chinese musical performances, and collaborating with local groups to promote traditional Chinese culture.

Vice-Principal Kwok Keng Man expressed that the Pui Ching Dance Group was honored to be invited to participate in the spring festival celebration at the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China-Brazil diplomatic relations. This year also marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of the handover of Macao to China, making the event all the more memorable. The Pui Ching Dance Group has also been invited to Portugal three times in the past to perform in the local “Happy Spring Festival” celebrations.
