Lost and Found — WeChat mini-program wins Special Prize 2024-04-16

From April 13 to 14, the final round of the 2nd WeChat Innovative Laboratory Mini-Program Global Coding Innovation Challenge was held in Shenzhen. Over 500 outstanding mini-programs were contributed by 128 schools from five major competition regions worldwide. 45 entries made their way into the final round. The finalists were required to optimize their entries within two days and engage in a defense of their programs.
5 teams consisting of 15 students from our school successfully entered the second round of the final competition. The entry titled 'AI Platform for Lost Items’ created by Cheong Sio Fong, Chong Tin Kin, and Lei In Iat won the Special Prize in the Flying Dragon Category, making their entry the No. 1-ranking mini-program in the world. Their instructor was Ms. Lam Sao Lan. Other award winners are as follows:

After the awards ceremony, a roundtable discussion was held on "Digitally-guided basic education”. Our school's Information Technology teachers, Ms. Lam Sao Lan and Mr. Wong Chan Lam were invited to share their educational experience with mini-programs, and Mr. Wong Chan Lam was awarded the title "Innovative Pathfinder".
Women’s Division C Team wins team championship in Inter-School Athletics Competition2024-03-25

At the 47th Inter-school Athletics Competition held from March 22nd to 24th, members of the Pui Ching Track and Field Team achieved remarkable results. In particular, our Women’s Division C Team won the team championship! In individual events, we secured championships in Women's Division A High Jump, Women's Division C 100m race, and Women's Division C 4x100m relay. Additionally, we achieved second place in Men's Division B 100m and 200m races, Women's Division C 200m race, Women's Division D Long Jump, and Women's Division C High Jump. Congratulations to our award winners!
Students excel in RoboRAVE Asia Regional Competition, 15 students to compete in Australia for world championship2024-02-26

On February 22nd, the 2024 RoboRAVE Education Program and International Robotics Asia Regional Competition was held in Beijing. Our school's 48 students participated in the competition in 21 teams.
In the Super Line Following challenge, our students performed exceptionally well. After the announcement of the map rules, timed testing, and group scoring matches, they achieved a total of 6 first prizes, 5 second prizes, and 10 third prizes. The students who received the first prize also earned the qualification to compete in the 2024 RoboRave World Championships, which will take place in Australia in July.
Women’s Group A Volleyball Team clinches 16th consecutive championship2024-02-05

The Inter-School Women’s Group A Volleyball Championship Match was held tonight. Pui Ching defeated Santa Rosa De Lima English Secondary School, securing its 16th consecutive championship.
In summary, Pui Ching won the championship and the third place in the Women's Group A volleyball tournaments as well as the championship in Women's Group B and Women's Group C tournaments.
The Men's Group A championship match will take place tomorrow evening (February 6th) at 7:00 PM. Pui Ching will be striving to defend its title. Please come and support our team at the University of Macau Sports Complex or watch the live broadcast on Macau Sports Channel.
Pui Ching students secure 24 golds and break 6 records in Inter-School Swimming Competition2024-01-28

The 47th Inter-School Swimming Competition was held on January 20th and 27th. This year's competition attracted 593 participants from 43 schools. 74 student athletes from our school competed in the event and won a total of 46 medals, including 24 golds, 14 silvers, and 8 bronzes. Our athletes also broke a total of 6 records during the competition.
On the second day of the competition, our students continued to excel and broke 3 more records, in the Men’s Group E 50m Breaststroke, Women’s Group A 100m Butterfly, and the Women’s Group A 4x50m Medley Relay Race.
