Eleven Pui Ching students participated in the Junior Space Camp Program under the supervision of their teacher.  All participating students from Pui Ching successfully graduated from the program on July 28^th.  Among the 150 participants, Ms. I Chon Ng won the Right Stuff Award, the highest award in the program.  She has been the first Chinese participant to be conferred the honour.

The 58^th International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO 2017) was held in Brazil.  Three out of the six contestants from Macao this year were Pui Ching students.  Among them, Mr. Hou Tin Chao clinched the gold medal for the second year at the competition.   He also won the gold medal at the IMO last year, the first ever gold medal from Macao in 25 years.  Mr. Chao has been the only contestant from Macao to win the gold medal for two consecutive years at the International Mathematics Olympiad.  Many congratulations to Mr. Chao and Pui Ching!

The Macao Youth Wind Orchestra participated in the 20^th International Festival of Wind Orchestras held in Schladming, Austria and won the First Place in the Intermediate Category (Category C).  Pui Ching students Ms. I Man Tam, Mr. Chi Pok Lee, Mr. Man Hou Lam, Ms. Wing U Wong, and Mr. Chon Hin Lai are members of the Macao Youth Wind Orchestra and posed for a picture with their instructors Mr. Kin Hang Leong and Mr. Lok Ming Leong and with Pui Ching alumni at the music festival.

Three Pui Ching students participated as representatives of Macao in the 15^th NOC National Secondary and Primary School Information Technology Innovation Finals.  Mr. Xiao Ming Ruan and Ms. Hoi Io Fong won the First Prize in the Webpage Design Category in the Primary School Section, and Mr. Chi Fai Ao won the second prize in the same category.
