Students awarded at “Reading Confucius” Writing Competition2017-06-10

In the awards ceremony for the 13th “Reading Confucius” Writing Competition, Pui Ching student Ms. Hei Ioi Tam won the First Prize and the Most Liked Writer Award. She gave a speech on her understanding of learning at the ceremony. Mr. U Ho Chui received the Second Prize and Ms. Cheok Hei Tam and Ms. Jing Lin Huang both received the Third Prize. The Merit Award went to Mr. Chak Man Fong, Mr. Cheok Kit Lai, Mr. Pui In Ip, Mr. Tsz Kuan Chan, Ms. Cheng I Ip, and Ms. Qin Rou Liu respectively.
The Faraday Challenge2017-05-28

Two teams of Pui Ching students attended the Macao Faraday Challenge 2017. The Competition is a test of the contestants’ integrated abilities through STEM activities and gives students the opportunity to research, design and make prototype solutions to genuinely tough engineering problems. The topic of this year’s competition was to design a password transmission system that allows one’s team members elsewhere to receive corresponding passwords. Six Junior 2 students came in the Third Place and six Junior 1 students received the Merit Award.
Pui Ching wins two Gold Awards in Macao Geography Olympiad2017-05-28

In the 7th Macao Geography Olympiad, Pui Ching students won 2 Gold Awards, 4 Silver Awards, and 2 Bronze Awards in the individual competitions and came in as the second runner-up in the group competitions.
The current president and vice-president of the Macao Geography Olympiad are both teachers of Pui Ching and they have been key contributors in the Macao Geography Olympiad’s success in becoming a member of the International Geography Olympiad community.

Pui Ching primary school student Mr. Chon Hou Ye attended the Asia Pacific Mathematics Olympiad in Singapore as a representative of Macao and won the Platinum Award.
