Student champions in Office Skills Competition advance to MOS World Championship on behalf of Macao2023-06-17
The 15th Office Skills Competition for Macau Students held its awards ceremony on June 16. Pui Ching student Lam Iok Cheong won the championship in the Excel Category and Lei In Iat won the third place in the same category. Kuok Chi Ioi and Ng Cheok Wai respectively won the championship in the PowerPoint Category in the 2019 and 2016 competition.
Our three champions have been invited to the 2023 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) World Championship to be held from late July to early August in the United States, where they will be representing Macao and competing with players from different countries and regions.
Women’s Basketball Team wins Group B and C championship, making three consecutive championships in inter-school tournaments2023-06-11
In the 2022-2023 Inter-School Basketball Finals, the Pui Ching Women’s Basketball Team won the Group B and Group C championship by 19-15 and 30-11 respectively.
The Pui Ching Women’s Basketball Team won one bronze medal in the Group A Basketball Finals and one gold medal in the Group B, C, and D Finals respectively this academic year.
Students win Outstanding Winner Award in Greater China Regional Contest of International Mathematical Modeling Challenge2023-06-10
The Greater China Regional Contest of the 9th International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IMMC 2023) held its finals at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from April 28 to 29. Pui Ching students Lam Iok Cheong, Chu In In, Chan Hon Lam, and Cho Si Un won the Outstanding Winner Award and will be representing Macao in the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge.
In the Greater China Regional Contest of the 2023 International Mathematical Modeling Challenge, a total of 4 Pui Ching students won the Outstanding Winner Award, 18 won the First Award, and 11 the Second Award. Over the years, Pui Ching students have won a total of 8 Outstanding Winner Awards, 44 First Awards, and 56 Second Awards in the Greater China Regional Contest of IMMC. Congratulations to our many award winners!
Women’s Basketball Team clinches championship2023-06-03
The Pui Ching Women’s Basketball Team outplayed their opponent by 20-19 in the Group D Inter-School Basketball Competition, clinching the championship for the 2022-2023 academic year. Congratulations to our Women’s Basketball Team!
Student wins championship in “The Constitution, the Basic Law and Me” Speech Competition2023-06-02
“The Constitution, the Basic Law and Me” Speech Competition was held today in commemoration of the 30-year anniversary of the publication of the Macao S.A.R. Basic Law.
The competition allowed young people to share their stories related to the Constitution of the People's Republic of China and the Macau Basic Law and gave young people the opportunity to understand the Constitution and the Macau Basic Law.
Senior 2 students Chai Chan On, Cheong Iok Si, Wong Si Wa, and Leong Cheng Long and Junior 3 student Ka Chi Ngou competed in a team and won the Outstanding Team Award. In the Individual Category, Senior 2C student Cheong Iok Si won the championship and the Best Presentation Award. The organizing committee presented a certificate of appreciation to Pui Ching Middle School for its active participation in the event. The instructor for the student contestants was Mr. O Chi Wa.
