To foster creative talents, Pui Ching established the Pui Ching Creative Souvenirs Team.  Team members learn various design skills and produce original souvenirs that represent Pui Ching.  To target the existing market, the Pui Ching Creative Souvenirs Vending Machine started operation yesterday, selling products that the team created.  These souvenirs include key chains, tape and other original Pui Ching souvenirs.

The Pui Ching Creative Souvenirs Vending Machine offers ePayment options.  The machine also accurately records all transactions in real time, allowing timely replenishment of inventory. 

As an external supervisor for graduate students at South China Normal University, Principal Kou was again invited to the university to give a speech to nearly 300 graduate students. 

The theme of the talk was “Unleashing unrealized potentials: STEM education at Macau Pui Ching Middle School”.  In the two-hour talk, Principal Kou shared the principles of STEM education at Pui Ching, the motivation, advantages, its development, outcomes as well as future directions.

To promote understanding of the industries among secondary school students, the Macao Factories Association organized the “Our Industrial Exposition” Video Production Competition.  Students from Pui Ching won various awards.  In particular, under the guidance of Mr. Ng Ka Meng, Pui Ching students Chio Hoi Kio and Ho Pui Pui won the championship, and Ao Lok Hei won the second place.  Lai Cheng Tong and Lam Chi U (working under the guidance of Mr. Wong Io Fong), and Ngai Chi Seng and Ma Cheok Lam (under the guidance of Mr. U Chong Hin) won the Merit Award. 

The Constitution and the Basic Law Online Knowledge Competition for Macao Secondary School Students organized by the China Education Association was held this morning.  Five of our students worked under the instruction of Ms. Deng Yi Jing and entered for the competition, including Lei Hei I, Cheong Sin Mei, Kuan Weng Kei, Cheng Hoi Teng and Chan Kuan Wai.  After very intense competition, the students won the championship in the Senior High Category.
