Students win 4 Golds in Kaohsiung International Invention & Design Expo2019-12-16

The 2019 Kaohsiung International Invention and Design Expo hosted by the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA) was held from December 6th to 9th in the Kaohsiung International Conference Center. Over 400 inventions from more than 20 countries and regions entered for the Expo this year. Pui Ching students excelled with 4 Gold Awards, 2 Silver Awards and various Special Awards.
Pui Ching joins Walk for Millions2019-12-08

During the Walk for Millions charity event, the Pui Ching Wind Orchestra performed in the Sai Van Lake Square to cheer the participants on. Pui Ching students also served as the color guards during the walk.
Students excel in Basic Law PowerPoint Design & Presentation Competition2019-12-07

Students of the International Issues Study Group attended the Basic Law PowerPoint Design & Presentation Competition and won various awards. Senior 3D student Tao Chong won the championship with her presentation “Macau, China—My experience as a Basic Law ambassador”. Senior 2D students Ma Ieng Hei, Lo Ka Ieng, Chan Hou Chai, and Lou Kin Long won the Third Place with their presentation “What a blessing it is to grow old in Macau”.
During their presentations, students related their personal experience to the country’s development as well as the current situation of Macau, deepening their understanding of the Basic Law and demonstrating the responsibility of Macau’s youth today.
Pui Ching students excel in PISA 20182019-12-04

According to the results of the 2018 Program for International Student Assessment (PISA), the performance of Pui Ching students in Reading, Mathematics, and Science was above the average learning outcomes for Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu as well as Zhejiang, which ranked No. 1 in mainland China in the PISA outcomes for 2018.
Pui Ching Middle School Artwork Exhibition opens2019-12-02

Hosted by Macau Pui Ching Middle School, co-organized by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau, the “I Lift My Eyes Up to the Hills” Pui Ching Middle School Artwork Exhibition opened today at the DSEJ Education Resources Center in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Macau’s handover and the 130th anniversary of the founding of Pui Ching Middle School.
The exhibition was held in two sessions. It demonstrates the fusion of heritage and innovation through new and old art forms and gave students a platform to express their use of technology in art as well as preservation of traditional art. The juxtaposition symbolizes the youth’s new approaches to problem solving in the changing times. The first session of the exhibition runs up to December 15th, 2019 and showcases artworks in the category of Innovation and Technology. The second session runs from December 16th, 2019 to January 1, 2020 and presents art in the category of Visual Arts. Opening hours are 10:30am to 7pm from Monday to Friday and 9:30am to 5:40pm on Saturdays.
