Pui Ching becomes sister schools with two primary schools in Jiangsu Province 2017-12-21

Vice-principal Kuok Keng Man and student Ms. Fung Cheok Lam attended the Macao Youth Jiangsu Cultural Tour upon invitation. The group took part in the opening ceremony for the Jiangsu-Macao Children’s Artwork Exhibition and Ms. Fung introduced her work to the guests at the exhibition.
In addition, the group visited the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall, Yunjin Museum, China Gate of the City Wall, among other attractions. The students later engaged in exchange activities with students of Wujin Experimental School of Changzhou and Jinling Primary School of Nanjing. Pui Ching became sister schools with the two local schools on Dec 19th and 20th respectively.
Students spread love as Christmas approaches2017-12-19

Secondary school students visited primary school and kindergarten pupils in their classrooms and exchanged Christmas greetings this morning. They set up various game booths for the pupils in the afternoon. The theme this year is My Ideal Life in 2050. Christmas displays designed by students adorned the school while fundraising events and student performances lit up the Christmas fair.

Roland Workshop opens2017-12-16

The Roland Creativity Salon: Youth STEAM Education Forum and Workshop was organized by Pui Ching and Roland Digital Corporation (Shanghai) and held in the Pui Ching Assembly Hall today. We had the pleasure of the company of Professor Hu Tie Jun of the FabLab Innovation Center of Zhongshan University as well as the presence of teachers and students from various primary and secondary schools in Macau.
The current forum evolves around STEAM education. With the development of the Internet and artificial intelligence, people have grown increasingly aware of the importance of education. STEAM education is focused on hands-on learning, autonomous learning, interactive cooperation, innovative thinking and artistic thinking.
President of Roland Digital Corporation (Shanghai) Mr. Huang Xue Xiu introduced at the forum that Roland Corporation designed a STEAM education curriculum grounded in hands-on learning. The opening ceremony for the Roland Workshop co-organized by Pui Ching and Roland Corporation ensued, making Pui Ching the first school in the country to run the curriculum.
STEM education has been a priority in recent years. STEAM education combines STEM with the element of Art. It explores the potential of students of different age groups and stimulates creative thinking through a series of activities and contests. The Roland Forum and Workshop exposed current teaching practitioners to the latest developments in teaching and helped to improve science education in Macau.
