Pui Ching students came in as champion and first runner-up in MOS World Championship2023-08-04

Student representatives from Macao excelled in the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship held in Florida from July 30 to August 2. Pui Ching students won the following awards:
MOS Excel 2019 world champion: Lam Iok Cheong (Instructor: Ms. Lam Sao Lan)
MOS PowerPoint 2019 first runner-up: Kuok Chi Sun (Instructor: Ms. Lam Sao Lan)
MOS PowerPoint 2016 winner of fifth place: Ng Cheok Wai (Instructor: Ms. Lam Sao Lan)
Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center held a welcoming ceremony for the representatives of Macao. Principal Dr. Kou Kam Fai of Pui Ching Middle School was invited as a guest of honor. Congratulations to our award winners!
Primary School Dance Team wins highest award in national dance competition2023-08-03

The 12th National Little Lotus Children’s Dance Competition is the most authoritative and influential children's dance performance event in the country. About 200 entries from mainland China, Hong Kong S.A.R, and Macao S.A.R. have been selected for performance in the event this year at the Cultural Plaza Theatre of Ningbo City, Zhejiang. Upon careful review by experts, outstanding dancers are awarded the Little Star Lotus Award and the Little Lotus New Talent Award.
The Pui Ching Primary School Dance Team performed the original dance, “The Legend of the Drunken Dragon”, created and choreographed by our very own teacher, Mr. Leong Kim Tan, Chief Choreographer of the dance team and president of the Macao Dancers Association. As the only representing team from Macao, our school’s dance team received critical acclaim from the judges in the 12th National Little Lotus Children’s Dance Competition, winning the Little Star Lotus Award, the highest award in the event. Pui Ching Middle School received the Home of Little Lotuses Award, the highest group award. Our student instructors Mr. Leong Kim Tan and Mr. Ngan Chin Hong were conferred the Gardener of Little Lotuses Award. Every member of the dance team was conferred the Little Star Lotus Award as recognition of their graceful performance and remarkable talent.
Pui Ching teachers and students engage in Learning Activities in Arctic Svalbard Isles2023-08-01

The Polar Research Institute of Hong Kong and Pui Ching Middle School organized Learning Activities in the Arctic Svalbard Isles for our students. The program gave 34 teachers and students from Hong Kong and Macao Pui Ching Middle and Primary School an unforgettable experience in the Arctic Isles.
Twelve students from Secondary 1 to 5 from Macao Pui Ching Middle School participated in the program under the supervision of Vice-Principal Kuok Keng Man and Ms. Chao Wai Sam. During the trip, students worked in groups to study topics such as ocean pollution, meteorology and ecology, topography, biological distribution, biodiversity, and human geography. Research in the Arctic not only broadened our students’ horizons, but it also inspired their sense of responsibility in protecting our planet against climate change.
Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Teams win championships in Youth Volleyball Competition2023-07-29

Our student athletes excelled in the 2023 Macao Youth Volleyball Competition. In the women’s volleyball competition, our school’s Red and Blue Team and Pui Ching Team A respectively won the gold and silver medal. In the men’s competition, Pui Ching Team A1 won the gold medal. Congratulations to our volleyball teams!
Pui Ching welcomes visiting teachers and students from Guizhou2023-07-27

The Guizhou Education and International Exchange Association organized an exchange activity in which 109 teachers and students from various schools in Guiyang visited our school on July 24 to engage in cultural and academic exchange. Following a warm welcome from Vice-Principal Chan Keng Lim and other school administrators, our guests had a tour of the school, visiting the school assembly hall, gymnasium, China Culture House, the Innovative Technology Education Center, the Lego Room, the Environmental Science Laboratory, and other facilities. The visit gave our guests an opportunity to engage with our students and teachers. It also allowed Pui Ching and the visiting schools to learn more about each other’s teaching practices and culture, promoting educational exchange between Guizhou and Macao.
