Pui Ching students win championship in all categories in Gomoku Tournament2022-12-15

The 2022 Bodhi Gomoku Tournament concluded on December 11. The tournament consists of three categories, the Children’s Category, the Youth Category, and the Open Category. The Ethical Competitor’s Award in each category aims to reward contestants who have not broken any rules during the competition.
Student contestants from Pui Ching came in as the champion, the first runner-up, and the second runner-up in both the Children’s Category and the Youth Category. Primary 6E student Lo Chan Hin competed in the Open Category and won the championship!

Pui Ching contributes charity funds to community chest 2022-12-07

Representatives of Pui Ching Middle School contributed MOP$340,686 of charity funds to the community chest through this year’s Walk for Millions event.
Principal Kou expressed hope that teachers and students can offer help to the underprivileged through the Walk for Millions charity event. Walk for Millions has moved online this year, and the school strongly encourages teachers and students to participate in the virtual community event.
Teachers, students, and parents can scan the QR code in the picture on the right and join the “Pui Ching Middle School” Team to show their support.
Member of Board of Directors gives talk on low-carbon development in Macao2022-10-05

Our Senior 2 students and teachers attended a talk this afternoon on low-carbon development in Macao. The talk was given by Dr. Choi Sai Peng, our member of board of directors and president of the Macao Urban Planning Institute. Dr. Choi discussed China’s goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality and the social and economic development of the Great Bay Area.
As the first school in China to participate in the zero-carbon emissions scheme, Pui Ching encourages students to be aware of the importance of reducing carbon emissions and to practice living a low-carbon lifestyle. Students actively asked questions on various issues to Dr. Choi after the talk and learned much from the discussion.
Pui Ching engages in online exchange with Zilanghu Experimental School2022-09-14

Pui Ching engaged in online exchange with Zilanghu Experimental School of Nantong on September 9. The two schools shared their founding principles and teaching methodologies, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation. It is hoped that in the future, both schools can pay visits to each other for academic exchange activities.
Representatives of Pui Ching Middle School who participated in the online exchange session included Principal Kou Kam Fai, Vice-Principals Kuok Keng Man, Chan Keng Lim and Ieong Pui Ian, Director Leong Veng Tong of the Moral Education Office, Director Fung Sio Han of the Primary School Academic Affairs Office, and Director Wong Kit Peng of the Primary School Moral Education Office. Representatives of Zilanghu Experimental School included Principal Zhou Shi Jian, Vice-Principals Yi Jun, Zuo Xiu Li and Wang Hai Xia, and Director Zhang Yan.
