Due to the recent Covid-19 outbreak, the Education and Youth Development Bureau announced the early end of the 2021/2022 academic year on June 22. 

Parents and students should observe the government’s regulations for disease prevention and control and pay attention to other notices from the school.

Various Covid testing stations in Macao went into operation at noon today.  Chief Executive Ho Iat-Seng visited the Covid testing station at Pui Ching this morning and cheered for the staff and volunteers from Pui Ching and other schools and organizations.  Parents from our parent-teacher association also helped out at the testing station.

Junior 3E student Wan Chi Hou has been working with his teacher Ms. Chan Sio Teng since primary school on a doorbell designed for the hearing impaired.  Over the past four years, Mr. Wan and Ms. Chan have been actively participating in various regional, national and international competitions and exhibitions to share their idea with the public, winning many awards and much recognition. 

After much consultation with Allied Group Limited, both parties signed the technology transfer agreement on June 14, 2022.  The doorbell will be entered into the production line and released into the market.  The idea will be further developed and the doorbell will be produced as a smart doorbell-watch to assist the hearing impaired with their daily lives.

The Zheng'an Guitar Museum officially opened on June 14 in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone.  In the opening ceremony of the Museum, the Guizhou Zheng'an Economic Development Zone Management Committee presented guitars to three middle schools in Macau, including Pui Ching Middle School.  Vice-Principal Kuok Keng Man, Deputy Director Lok Kim Fong, and Senior 1 student Ng In Fu were invited to the ceremony. 

Pui Ching Middle School subsequently committed to providing assistance to Zheng'an County No. 8 Senior High School of Guizhou in a contract signing ceremony.  Pui Ching will be sharing its experience in various areas with No. 8 Senior High School, including school management, educational research, academic exchange, teacher-student networking, etc.  It is hoped that this can assist No. 8 Senior High School with the standardization of school management, organization of teaching seminars, cultivation of a school culture, and the improvement of the overall quality of education.
