Three students from Pui Ching represented Macao in the 16^th Hong Kong and Macao Youth Internet Skills Competition and won various awards.  The competition covered basic knowledge about the internet, information technology and internet security.  

Gold Award: Lam Iok Cheong (Junior 3A)

Bronze Award: Wong Tin Iao (Senior 1A)

Merit Award: Ao Chi Seng (Senior 2A)

Ms. Lam Sao Lan, Mr. Wong Chan Lam and Mr. Leong Kuok Iong provided guidance to the award winners as instructors.

Pui Ching Middle School held a flag raising ceremony this morning to celebrate the founding of the 21^st anniversary of the founding of Macao S.A.R..  Pastor Ao Ieong led the prayer after the ceremony and expressed gratitude that school could proceed as usual during the pandemic.

Principal Kou gave a speech and pointed out that the progress we have made in education over the years has been in large part thanks to the support of the central government under the “One Country Two Systems” policy. 

The Year 2020 has been a difficult year.  Principal Kou commended the central government for effectively combating the pandemic.  We have been able to continue various academic activities at school all thanks to the effort of the government.  Principal Kou expressed gratitude for all we have.  

The Golden Spring Award Short Film Competition held its awards ceremony yesterday.  The event aims to encourage outstanding new media productions.  Pui Ching students won various awards:

The 12^th Macao IT Competition—Alice 3D Programming Competition held its awards ceremony this afternoon.  Pui Ching Senior 3E student Leong Chi Tou, Senior 3E student Cheong Sam I and Junior 3A student Fong Ka Seong won the only grand award in the Secondary School Category.  Senior 1B students Sou Chon Hei, Hoi Hou Hang and Ng Cheok Wai won the Merit Award.  Nearly 300 people attended the competition this year.  Six of our students stood out from the crowd amid the fierce competition.  In the awards ceremony, grand award winners Cheong Sam I, Fong Ka Seong and Leong Chi Tou shared their award-winning work, winning the applause of the audience.  Instructors for our award-winning students this year were Mr. Lok Kim Fong and Ms. Lam Sao Lan.
