Students join “Together We Can Fight the Pandemic” Macao Recitation Show2020-10-19

The 2020 “Together We Can Fight the Pandemic” Macao Recitation Show was organized by Macao Lotus TV and sponsored by the Macao Foundation.  Thanks to the support of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government, the Cultural Affairs Bureau and Wynn Macao, the recitation show was held at Wynn Palace on October 18.  The Pui Ching Dance Team was invited to perform the dance “Faith” and “Mom I’m here for you”.  Junior 1A student Cheng Seng Hei and Primary 2C student Wong U Sam were invited to give a recitation performance.  The students’ contribution to the event won thunderous applause.

Students excel in Macao Student Drawing and Calligraphy Competition2020-10-18

The “Let’s Fight the Pandemic Together” Macao Student Drawing and Calligraphy Competition was held by the Macao Chinese Culture Art Association.  The theme this year was “Big Love in the Fight Against the Pandemic”.  It is hoped that through creating works of art and calligraphy, contestants can extend their salute to frontline healthcare workers and spread positive energy in society.  Their works are on display till October 24th and open for view to the public from 10am to 6pm.

First Prize: Ngan Cheng I (Primary 6)

 

Second Prize: Mok Chon Him (Primary 4)

 

Third Prize: Ngan Cheng Io (Junior 2)

Macao Pui Ching Middle School held its 50th Track and Field Sports Meet in the University of Macao Stadium and Macao Stadium.  The Sports Meet concluded at noon today.

 

Award winners are as follows:

 

Record-Breaking Performance Award: Lam Lok Si, Wong Ip Fong, Chu Wa Kuan, Tsang Chi In, Lam Pak In

 

Best Performance Award: Fong Su (Men’s Category A), Tong Cheok Hei (Men’s Category B), Chu Wa Kuan (Men’s Category C), Tsang Chi In (Men’s Category D), Leng Ho I (Women’s Category A), Lam Lok Si (Women’s Category B), Tam Tin U (Women’s Category C), Man Sao Ieng (Women’s Category D)

The awards ceremony for the 4th Macao Chinese Dream Drawing Competition for Primary School Students was held today.  The theme this year was “The Great Bay Area in children’s dreams: The future in my mind”.  Students portray their Chinese dream with their colored pencils.  Award winners are as follows:

 

First Prize: Chan Sin Wa (Junior 1), Ao Kam Leong (Primary 5), Tam Kei Chon (Primary 4), Chan Lin Ieong (Primary 4), Chong Pui U (Primary 4)

 

Second Prize: Pui Kai Cheng (Primary 6), Mok Chon Him (Primary 4)

 

Third Prize: Leong Kam Ian (Primary 6), Chao Hou In (Primary 5), Ao Chin Ioi (Primary 4), Lei Sam U (Primary 4)

Student athletes expected to achieve great results in Sports Meet.2020-10-10

2020 is an extraordinary year.  Under strict regulations for social distancing, the 50th Track and Field Sports Meet of Pui Ching Middle School is held on October 10th, 12th and 13th in the Macao University Stadium and Macao Stadium respectively.

 

A number of events were held in the morning of the 10th, including the Primary 5 and 6 Category D track events, Men’s Category A Long Jump, Men’s Category B 1500-Meter Race, and the Women’s Category A Long Jump.

 

The Pui Ching Middle School Sports Meet will last for three days.  Once again students challenged their limits on the field and aimed for the sky.  Way to go, Pui Ching athletes and coaches!
