Seven students win Outstanding Youth Award.2019-08-17

The 5th Macao Outstanding Youth Election hosted by the Macao Christian Youth Association held its awards ceremony this afternoon in MGM.  Seven out of the ten award winners were Pui Ching students:

Secondary School Dance Team joins Taoli Cup performance2019-08-16

The 12th National Taoli Cup Educational Outcomes Exposition is one of the greatest dance events in China and is held once every three years.

 

Upon invitation by the National Culture and Tourism Department, our Secondary School Dance Team put on the dance performance The Sound of the Heart and received acclaim from guests such as Chairman Feng Shuangbai of the China Dancers Association and Associate Dean/ Associate Secretary Mr. Zhang Jianguo of the Zhejiang Music Academy.  Congratulations to our student dancers!

Pui Ching students excelled in the 2019 Asia Skating Invitational Competition held in Thailand.  Award winners are as follows:

Students win championship in World Robot Olympiad 2019-08-07

The 2019 World Robot Olympiad was held in Denmark.  140 teams from 34 countries gathered in Aarhus from August 2nd to 4th.  Pui Ching was the only team from Macau invited to the competition.  Primary 3 student Chan Seong Lai and Primary 4 students Wu Nok Ian and Wu Iat Long entered for the WeDo Innovation Challenge.  Primary 5 students Chio Lok Man and Fong Chi Weng entered for the WeDo Regular Challenge.  After three days of intense competition, Chan Seong Lai, Wu Nok Ian and Wu Iat Long won the championship in the WeDo Innovation Challenge.  This is the second time they won the competition.  Many congratulations to our contestants!

Dancers won Star of the Lotus Award and Home of the Lotus Award 2019-08-02

The Beauty of the Lotus Children’s Dance Performance is the most influential national children’s dance performance to-date.  Held once every two years, the performance this year gathered over 500 groups of dancers from Hong Kong, Macao, and all over the country.  195 groups of dancers entered the final competition.  The finalists gathered in Guangzhou for the final competition, and after six rounds of competition in front of 11 judges, the Pui Ching Primary School Dance Team won the highest award, Star of the Lotus; and the Pui Ching Secondary School Dance Team also won the highest award, Home of the Lotus, in their own category, and was the only team from Hong Kong and Macao to win this honor.
