The Pui Ching 130^th Anniversary Cup Volleyball Competition was held this afternoon in the stadium of Macao Pui Ching Middle School.  Principal Kou expressed hope that the competition would be the beginning of a series of celebratory sports events in future school anniversaries.

After the opening ceremony, Hong Kong and Macao Pui Ching Middle School played in the Primary School Boys and Girls’ Category, Secondary School Men’s Category, Secondary School Women’s Category, and the Alumni Men’s Category.  Macao Pui Ching Middle School won the championship in all four categories.

Pui Ching students won the championship in the 2019 Interschool Debate Competition.  The award winners are as follows:

Best Debater (Preliminary Competition): Kuan I Teng

Best Debater (Final Competition): Lei I Cheng

The theme of this year’s competition was “Macao should put in place a universal retirement plan”.  Contestants from Pui Ching argued against the proposition and won by 4:1. 

Judges voted for the four winning teams in the end and Pui Ching clinched the championship with 17 votes.

The 2018/2019 Interschool Women’s Category D Basketball Competition was held this afternoon.  Pui Ching outplayed Escola Ilha Verde by 42:10 and won the championship.
