Power Information Systems Ltd. and Pui Ching sign strategic cooperation protocol2018-06-21

In the past decade, Pui Ching has been working toward a smart campus and received recognition for its promotion of smart electronic learning and its STEM curriculum. 

 

To help build Macao as a smart city and Pui Ching as a smart campus, Pui Ching Middle School and Power Information Systems Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation protocol this afternoon in the Pui Ching assembly hall.  Power Information Systems Ltd. is affiliated to F&Z Group and partners with Beijing MI Technology Ltd.  Through the cooperation, Pui Ching Middle School hopes to introduce more MI smart devices into the school and create platforms for students to learn from MI engineers. 

 

Following the signing of the protocol, a talk was conducted on the concept of a smart city, which covered details of day-to-day life that help form a smart city. 

 

Principal Kou Kam Fai expressed hope that the cooperation promote smart learning and the preservation of our culture through technology.  Participating guests in the event included CEO of Macao Telecommunications Ltd. Mr. Pun Fuk Hei, Deputy CEO Ms. Cham Po I, Chief Officer of City Affairs Mr. U Sio Hon, Macao Pui Ching Middle School Chancellor Mr. Lo Wing Cheong, Pui Ching Principal Mr. Kou Kam Fai, Vice-Principals Mr. Kuok Keng Man and Mr. Chan Keng Lim, Chairman of the board of directors of Power Information Systems Ltd. Mr. Fu Jin, Deputy Chairmen Mr. Shang Guan Hong , Mr. Zheng Zhi Fan and Ms. Fang Li, and Retails Department Deputy Director Mr. Li Zhi Li, etc.

                                                        

Pui Ching wins first place in Zhuhai Table Tennis Association Cup Competition 2018-06-17

The 2018 Zhuhai Table Tennis Association Cup Children’s Open Competition was held today.  Primary 3 students Mr. Lei Man In and Ms. Cheong Chi Hun and Primary 2 student Ms. Lao Chi Ieng won the first place in the Category C group competition.  Mr. Lei Man In also won the second place in the Category C singles competition.  Ms. Lao Chi Ieng won the third place in the singles competition.

The 2017-2018 Awards Ceremony for the Information Management, Innovative Technology, Robotics, and Science and Engineering Competitions saw Pui Ching students win various awards.  The student contestants clinched a total of 23 Awards of Distinction, 3 Merit Awards, and 11 First Awards in the 2018 Macao Youth Technology Innovation Preliminary Competition and the 2017 Macao Science and Engineering Competition.  Pui Ching students also came in as the first and second runner-up in the 16th National Secondary and Primary School Information Technology Innovation Macao Regional Competition.  Congratulations to our award winners!

Pui Ching teachers win the most awards in Instructional Design Award Scheme 2018-06-02

The awards ceremony for the 2016/2017 Instructional Design Award Scheme was held this afternoon at Keang Peng Primary School.  Principal Kou Kam Fai, Vice-Principal Kuok Keng Man and Vice-Principal Chan Keng Lim offered their congratulations at the ceremony.

 

Pui Ching teachers have always been active participants in the award scheme and made up half of the award winners this year.  They won a total of 22 Distinction Awards, 25 First Class Awards and 15 Second Class Awards in such fields as Instructional Design, Information Technology, and Pedagogical Research.  Pui Ching won the greatest number of awards among all schools in Macao and received the Active Participation Award.
