Pui Ching students excel in Intel International Science and Engineering Fair2018-05-18

The Intel ISEF was held in Pittsburgh and three representing teams from Macao, two of which consisted of Pui Ching students, attended the fair. The Ocean Environment Conservation Research Team worked under Innovation and Technology Director Mr. Lao Kun Wa and consisted of student members Mr. Ho Man Chon, Mr. Lao Seong Hok, and Mr. Leong Man Hei.  The Biology Research Team worked under instructors Ms. Io Hio Fai and Ms. Leong Ieng Ieng and consisted of student members Mr. Chan Chi Kio, Mr. Fong Chun Hei, Ms. Ieong Sin U, and Ms. Hui Hoi Ian. 

 

In particular, the Ocean Environment Conservation Research Team received the Third Prize and the Aqua Technology Special Award funded by King Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia and the Genius and Innovation Foundation. This is the second time Pui Ching students won an award for Macao in the international arena.  Congratulations to our students! 

 

The success of our students is also attributed to the help of their teachers and parents, the S.A.R. government’s attention to education, the organization of the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau, the support of the Science and Technology Development Foundation, and the professional guidance of the University of Macao. Pui Ching held the May 4th Youth Day Flag-Raising Ceremony this morning.  The president of the Student Association addressed the audience and encouraged students to carry forward the May 4th spirit, work hard and contribute to society.

Students won Merit Award in Inter-School Dance Competition2018-04-29

In the 38th Inter-School Dance Competition, the Secondary School Dance Team won the Merit Award with their Tong ethnic dance “The drinking song”.  Congratulations to our award-winners!

Primary students win Merit Award and Creativity Award in Inter-School Dancing Competition 2018-04-29

The Primary Dance Team won the Creativity Award and Merit Award in the 38th Inter-School Dancing Competition.  The primary students staged the play “The call of the wind” under the guidance of Mr. Leong Kim Tan.  The play was based on the Liberation Army’s rescue effort in the wake of the August 23rd Typhoon Disaster.  Congratulations to our award winners!
