Pui Ching and Broad Learning Education (Asia) Ltd. host Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Digital Campus Sharing Session.2017-06-13

Schools in Macao have been devoting increased resources into digital learning and seen positive learning outcomes in recent years. To further improve the quality of education and education management, Pui Ching and Broad Learning Education (Asia) Ltd. held a sharing session on digital education on June 13 in the assembly hall. We had the pleasure of the company of representatives from Tak Sun School and St. Peter’s Secondary School, both seasoned schools in digital education in Hong Kong. The guest speakers shared their valuable experience in the field. Over a hundred teachers from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao attended the session.
Representatives from Tak Sun School, St. Peter’s Secondary School, and Pui Ching Middle School all shared experience on such topics as big data, digital learning, student data analysis, electronic administrative management, and digital education methodology. The sharing session also expounded on the effect of the E-Class Parent-Teacher App and Powerlesson 2.0 Interactive Lessons on teaching and administrative management. These platforms are expected to make classroom management more effective and improve student motivation and learning outcomes. The CEO of Broad Learning Education (Asia) Ltd. also shared with teachers the latest development in digital teaching and learning.
The sharing session explored the potentials of digital teaching and learning and how good use of digital technology can create a sustainable digital campus. At the end of the session, teaching practitioners went on a guided tour of Pui Ching and its special classrooms. It is hoped that the tour has allowed the visitors a glimpse into digital learning at Pui Ching.
Pui Ching students excel in IT, Innovative Technology, and Robotics Competitions2017-06-10

In the awards ceremony for the 2016/2017 Information Technology, Innovative Technology, and Robotics Competitions, Pui Ching won various awards. Students clinched a total of 20 Awards of Distinction, 13 Merit Awards and 2 First Awards in the 2017 Macao Youth Technological Innovations Preliminary Competition and the 2016 Macao Science and Engineering Competition. Pui Ching also produced 1 champion, 2 runners-up, and 1 second runner-up in the Macao Preliminaries of the 15th National Secondary and Elementary School IT Innovation and Application Activities. Congratulations to our winners!

Students awarded at “Reading Confucius” Writing Competition2017-06-10

In the awards ceremony for the 13th “Reading Confucius” Writing Competition, Pui Ching student Ms. Hei Ioi Tam won the First Prize and the Most Liked Writer Award. She gave a speech on her understanding of learning at the ceremony. Mr. U Ho Chui received the Second Prize and Ms. Cheok Hei Tam and Ms. Jing Lin Huang both received the Third Prize. The Merit Award went to Mr. Chak Man Fong, Mr. Cheok Kit Lai, Mr. Pui In Ip, Mr. Tsz Kuan Chan, Ms. Cheng I Ip, and Ms. Qin Rou Liu respectively.
Pui Ching Dance Team wins acclaim at Spring of Macao Dance, Music & Opera Night2017-06-06

The Pui Ching Dance Team attended the 2017 Spring of Macao Chinese Dance, Music and Opera Night upon invitation by the China Dancers Association. The event was hosted by the Macao China Culture Education Department, the China Dancers Association, the China Federation of Literary Circles Liaison Office in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and the Macao China Culture Association. Spring of Macao was held on June 6 in the Cultural Center and the Pui Ching Dance Team put on the dance The Spell of the Shades. The students’ breathtaking performance earned them thunderous applause and the acclaim of the guests at the event.
The evening gathered artists from organizations all over the country, including the Central Ethnic Song and Dance Ensemble, the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, the College of Dance of the Minzu University of China, the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, the Dalian Acrobatic Troupe, the China National Opera and Dance Drama Theatre, the Zhengzhou Opera and Dance Drama Theatre, the Wuhan Opera and Dance Drama Theatre, and the Guangdong STO Street Dance Troupe of the Street Dance Committee (subsidiary to the China Dancers Association). Spring of Macao also had the pleasure of the company of the winner of the Plum Blossom Prize for Outstanding Performance in Chinese Opera. The exceptional talent of the artists mesmerized the audience and brought the evening to life.
