Pui Ching students came through with outstanding performance in the 2017 Hong Kong and Macao Mathematical Olympiad (Macao region).  They clinched the group championship in the primary school category and came in as the group second runner-up in the secondary school category.

Senior 2 students Mr. Chi Kio Chan, Ms. Sin U Ieong, Mr. Man Chon Ho, and Mr. Hok Him Chon represented Macao in the 37^th Adolescents Technology Innovation Competition held in Beijing.

Mr. Chi Kio Chan and Ms. Sin U Ieong’s invention analyzes the defense mechanism of coral in an attempt to explore alternative therapies for humans.  Mr. Man Chon Ho and Mr. Hok Him Chon invented the SMART PLECO, a multi-functional eco-friendly unmanned craft for water bodies protection.  Both inventions received the First Prize and high regard from the judges. 

The contestants’ instructors were Ms. Ieng Ieng Leong, Mr. Hio Fai Io and Mr. Kun Wa Lao.

The Pui Ching Teacher and Student Photography Exhibition, The Music of Life, is hosted by Pui Ching Middle School and co-organized by the Macao Science Center. The opening ceremony was held at 5:30pm today.  Science Center Curator Mr. Hon Pan Sio, Pui Ching Principal Dr. Kam Fai Kou, Vice-Principal Mr. Keng Man Kuok, Visual Art teacher Ms. Wing Pan Ao, and student representative Mr. In Chong Choi cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony.  Over 20 teacher and student works of photography brought nature indoors to the audience.  The exhibition will be held from March 24^th to 31^st at the Macao Science Center Exhibition Hall.

Pui Ching celebrated the 25^th anniversary of its founding of the History and Geography Association and held the 26^th inaugural ceremony for its staff members.  Guests had the pleasure of viewing student works such as posters, magazines, and films.
