Student representatives awarded at APICTA 2016-12-05
The 16thAsia Pacific Information and Communications Technology Alliance (APICTA) was held in Taipei. Pui Ching students Mr. Chon Hin Ho, Mr. Chon Hou Leong, and Mr. Man Chon Ho represented Macao under the guidance of their teacher Mr. Kun Wa Lao and won the Merit Award, ranking second in the Secondary School Category.
Vice Principal Mr. Keng Man Kuok elected as committee member of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles2016-12-03
Vice Principal Mr. Keng Man Kuok attended upon invitation the 10th National Conference of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and was elected as a committee member at the 10th conference of the federation.
Primary 6 Teamwork Development Camp2016-12-02
Primary 6 students went to the Xiong Ying Military Training Camp in Zhongshan for their graduation trip on December 1st and 2nd. Students learned much about teamwork in the two-day training.
Students clinch group championship in International Mathematics Olympiad2016-11-29
The 2016 Malaysia International Mathematics Olympiad was held on November 26th in Malaysia. Pui Ching primary school students joined the competition under the supervision of their teachers and won awards as follows:

Group Runners-Up: Ian Wai Si, Ho Yau Cheang, Hei Chit Leong, Chan On Qi

Students win championship at Harvard-MIT Mathematics Tournament2016-11-23
The Harvard-MIT Mathematics Tournament (HMMT) was held in early November. The only secondary school in Macau invited to the tournament, Pui Ching sent 6 Senior High School student representatives to the United States. The tournament featured individual and group competitions and Pui Ching won the First Place.
Started in 1998, the HMMT is an international mathematics competition, attracting almost 1,000 talented contestants from around the world every year. The tournament was held on November 11th and 12th at Harvard University, with 150 teams of talents gathering for the event. Senior students Mr. Hou Tin Chau, Mr. Chon kio Wong, Mr. Kai Cheong Choi, Mr. Cho Hou Tang, Ms. Wai Neng Lai, and Ms. Ho Ieng Ngai attended as a team under the supervision of their teacher Mr. Hong Kuan Tam. Mr. Hou Tin Chau clinched the First Place in both the individual and group competition. The team ranked the 4th in their final score. After the tournament, students toured Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Pui Ching students have always been known for their outstanding academic achievements in Mathematics and Science subjects and have won many awards in various interschool, local, national and international competitions, many times breaking Macau’s mathematics score records.
