Dr. Ruan Bester, a vet from South Africa, was invited to our school with his team and two adorable dogs. He held a wonderful workshop on animal care at lunchtime today. Our teachers, students and their parents found it extremely interesting and informative. We had such a pleasant time with him and his lovely doggies.

In the afternoon, Dr. Bester gave a terrific talk to Junior 1 & 2 students. Not only did he introduce different types of animals, but he also shared his world-wide working experience with us. We were amazed by his stories as he had travelled in 142 countries and worked in various national zoos. Many of our students eagerly asked him questions about animal care. They were greatly inspired to explore the world and pursue their dreams.
