The 2021 Hong Kong and Macao Mathematical Olympiad Open Contest and the Asia International Mathematical Olympiad Open Contest were held on Sunday, June 6 at Macao Pui Ching Middle School.  The awards ceremony followed immediately.  Pui Ching students won a total of 15 golds, 14 silvers, and 10 bronzes in the individual competition for secondary school students.  In the individual competition for primary school students, our students won 16 golds, 14 silvers, and 6 bronzes.  Pui Ching also won the championship in the Form 6, Form 5, Form 4, Form 3, and Primary 2 Category.  In the inter-school competition, Macao Pui Ching Middle School came in as the first runner-up in the secondary school category and the champion in the primary school category.  We were also selected as one of the ten best schools of the year.  

The Greater China Final Presentation Competition of the 2021 International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IMMC 2021) was held online from May 14 to 15, 2020.  Over 690 teams from different regions of Greater China participated in the competition; our students stood out from the many teams and became one of the 52 Greater China teams to enter the Final Presentation Competition.  Pui Ching students Wong Nok Kuai, Leong Nga Iat, Ieong Chio Kit and Hoi Weng Cheng received the Finalist Award in the International Round and the Greater China Round.  Lio Ka Ian, Pun Pou Ieng, Chong Io Chong, and Lao Chin Tou received the Finalist Award in the International Round and the First Prize in the Greater China Round. 

Three teams of Pui Ching students won the Second Prize in the International Round.  Three teams won the First Prize and seven teams won the Second Prize in the IMMC autumn contest.  One team won the Finalist Award, two teams won the First Prize, and three teams won the Second Prize in the IMMC winter contest.

The Pui Ching Botball Team participated in the Botball Educational Robotics Program (2021 Botball Asia) in Hangzhou on May 30.  Our student contestants exercised their creativity and imagination and rose up to one challenge after another.  Award-winners are as follows:

Upon invitation by the University of Macao, Pui Ching Middle School participated in the 2020/2021 International Collegiate Programming Contest on May 29 (https://www.cis.um.edu.mo/icpc2021).  Two teams of secondary school students from Pui Ching contended in the Outstanding High School Teams Category.  T-One (including Ip Chon Hou, Ngan Chon Wai, and Wong Tin Iao) won the first place, the highest award in the category.  T-Two (including Leong Nga Chi, Lou Weng Ka, and Chan Cheng Leong) won the seventh place.
