Students take part in Robot Boxing Competition2016-09-09

The 9th Robot Boxing Competition held by the Taiwan Robot Boxing League took place from Sept. 2nd to 5th. Pui Ching secondary school students Mr. Hou Seng Leung and Mr. Chi Chon Choi took part in the competition under the guidance of their instructor Mr. Kit Seng Deng. Both students consistently performed well and won themselves a place among the top 12 teams.
Primary student wins first place in judo tournament2016-09-01

The Secondary & Primary School Judo Tournament was hosted by the Taiwan Judo Association. Primary 3 student Mr. Ian Sin Lei won the first place in the Lower Primary Boys category.
Student receives Gold at Soong Ching Ling Young Inventor’s Award competition2016-08-02

The 12th Soong Ching Ling Young Inventor’s Award competition was held from July 30 to August 2 in the Guiyang Exhibition Hall. The competition attracted student contestants from all over the country and saw 2,266 student inventions. 255 inventions entered the final, where young inventors would answer questions about their works. Primary 5 student Mr. Pak Ian Ho joined the competition under the guidance of his teacher Mr. Kuok Chin Un and clinched the Gold Award. His invention, the Sound-Controlled Escalator for the Visually-Impaired, was the only Gold Award from the Macau Special Administrative Region.
Beijing No. 9 and Pui Ching clinch two awards at Science and Technology Exchange Activities2016-07-21
The awards ceremony for the Beijing—Macau Secondary School Science and Technology Exchange Activities was held on July 21. In cooperation with Beijing No. 9 Middle School, our school won the award for the Best Explorative Learning Approach as well as the award for the Best Web Page Design.
Students clinch gold and silver at National Bingxin Literary Contest2016-07-18

Two of our students attended the final of the 11th National Youth Bingxin Literary Contest held in Beijing in mid-July. Pui Ching was the only school in Macau S.A.R. that made its way to the final. Congratulations to our students Ms. Hio Ian Lam and Ms. Ka Man Vong who won the gold and silver awards respectively in the senior secondary section under the guidance of their teacher Ms. Pui Ian Lam. Ms. Hio Ian Lam also won the silver award for Classical Poetry Recitation.
The Bingxin Literary Contest is named after famous Chinese writer Bingxin. Bingxin was one of the most prolific Chinese writers of the 20th Century. Many of her works were written for young readers and have inspired countless budding writers in the pursuit of their dreams. The 11th National Bingxin Literary Contest gathered almost 1,000 student contestants from all over the country and has served as a great platform for young people to showcase their talents.
