To introduce traditional Chinese culture to youths in Macao, the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government, the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the Macao Chinese Culture Association jointly organized the 2020 Haojiang Spring Variety Show. 

The show was held at the Pui Ching assembly hall at 10:30 this morning.  It featured performances by various famous artists, including Beijing opera, Kun opera, Shanghai opera, Cantonese opera, piano recitals, and violin concertos. 

The variety show consisted of nine programs and featured performances of various famous artists from the mainland.  Pui Ching student Ieong Neng had the opportunity to perform the Turkish March Improvisation with famous pianist Song Si Heng.  Ieong Neng has been the first student musician in Macao to have held a piano recital at the Vienna Golden Hall.  The various art forms brought a fantastic feast of music to over 300 teachers and students.
