Pui Ching students excel at 48th Geneva International Inventions Exhibition2023-05-04

The 48th Geneva International Inventions Exhibition opened on April 26th at the Palexpo Convention Center in Geneva, Switzerland. The exhibition showcased over 1,000 inventions from more than 800 exhibitors representing 40 countries.

 

Two student projects from Macao Pui Ching Middle School were featured in the competition, including an automatic traffic signal control system based on real-time traffic flow and a personal road condition detection device. Both projects were received well at the exhibition, winning the gold award and bronze award respectively and garnering attention from the media.

 

During the exhibition, the student contestants also had the opportunity to introduce their projects to Ambassador Wang Shiting, the Chinese Ambassador to Switzerland. The experience broadened the students’ horizons and provided a platform for the students to showcase their innovative inventions.  Our award winners are as follows:
