“The Constitution, the Basic Law and Me” Speech Competition was held today in commemoration of the 30-year anniversary of the publication of the Macao S.A.R. Basic Law.

The competition allowed young people to share their stories related to the Constitution of the People's Republic of China and the Macau Basic Law and gave young people the opportunity to understand the Constitution and the Macau Basic Law.

Senior 2 students Chai Chan On, Cheong Iok Si, Wong Si Wa, and Leong Cheng Long and Junior 3 student Ka Chi Ngou competed in a team and won the Outstanding Team Award.  In the Individual Category, Senior 2C student Cheong Iok Si won the championship and the Best Presentation Award.  The organizing committee presented a certificate of appreciation to Pui Ching Middle School for its active participation in the event.  The instructor for the student contestants was Mr. O Chi Wa.
