As the autumn breeze brought a refreshing chill, the 53rd Athletics Meet of Pui Ching Middle School commenced at the Macao Stadium in Taipa.  To kick off this year’s sports events, Physical Education teacher Chan Weng Sam was invited to give a speech on “What sports have taught me” during the weekly school assembly on the eve of the sports meet.  Ms. Chan shared her personal sports stories from her school days and mentioned how she had balanced her roles as a student and an athlete.  She encouraged the students to effectively manage their time, persevere, and face challenges head-on.

The opening ceremony for the Pui Ching Athletics Meet was held this afternoon.  Sports events will be taking place over the next three days from September 25 to 27.
