Student wins National Gold Award in Business Professionals of America (China Round), qualifying for global competition2025-03-03

Business Professionals of America is an organization officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USED) and the Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO). BPA focuses on preparing students for careers in business and related fields and organizes various competitions where students can showcase their skills in areas such as accounting, finance, management, and information technology. This year, over 6,000 high school students from across the country competed in the national finals of Business Professionals of America (China Round), held from February 28 to March 2 in Chengdu. Under the guidance of Ms. Jin Fei Tie, 9 students from Pui Ching excelled in the competition. In particular, Si I Hin (S5A) won the National Gold Award (top 5%), and Lei Ho Iao (S6A), Hou Tin U (S6B), and Leong Lok Io (S6A) won the National Silver Award, qualifying for the global competition.

Students win National First Prize in “Qing Shi Cup” National Historical Playwriting Competition for High School Students2025-02-23

The 9th “Qing Shi Cup” National Historical Playwriting Competition for High School Students was organized by East China Normal University Education Group. Pui Ching students Chao Chi Ieng and Lei In Iat won the National First Prize (the highest award) with their work Assassination of the Horse at Haojiang. The National First Prize is awarded to a total of 17 contestants across the country, and only one contestant in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region. Pui Ching Middle School was awarded the Outstanding Organization Award, and the award winners’ instructor Mr. Li Jun received the Outstanding Instructor’s Award.
Pui Ching student wins grand championship in secondary school division of Macao Student Printmaking Exhibition2025-02-15

Pui Ching students participated in the 6th Macao Student Printmaking Exhibition. Vice Principal Kuok Keng Man was invited to officiate the ribbon-cutting ceremony and present the awards at the event. The competition focused on printmaking as the primary art form and aims to enhance students' understanding of printmaking. Pui Ching students won various awards in the event. In particular, Grade 7 student Iao U In was awarded the grand championship.

Pui Ching students excel in Gomoku Championship2025-01-27

The 2024 China Gomoku Championship for Secondary School Students and the China Gomoku Training Camp for Primary School Students concluded on January 21 in Rizhao City, Shandong Province. The event attracted over 160 participants from 77 schools across 9 provinces and regions in China as well as the Macao Special Administrative Region.
In the Primary School Group A competition, our Grade 6 student Leong Chon Meng achieved an undefeated record of 6.5 points, winning the championship. He is the first Macao player in the national youth tournament to win the championship. In the Primary School Group B competition, Chan I Son won the second place, and in the secondary school competition, Lei Un Hou won the third place. The achievements set a new record for Macao Gomoku players in national championships.

Senior 1 students win highest award in International Trade Fair held in Nuremberg2024-11-13

Senior 1 students Lo Weng I and Wu Nok Ian participated in the 76th International Trade Fair for Ideas, Inventions and New Products held in Nuremberg from October 26 to 28 and won the highest award, the Gold Medal. In addition to the Gold Medal, the young inventors’ “Color Blindness Detection and Analysis Device 2.0” also won the Conference Award and the Patent Award. Congratulations to our young inventors!
