Students came in as champions and first runners-up in Robofest2019-03-25
Students and teachers from Pui Ching attended the Macao Regional Preliminaries of the Robofest Robotics Competition held by the Robot Institute of Hong Kong. Pui Ching students came through with flying colors. Primary students Kuan Man U, Kong Si Nga, Tam Fai Ip, Leong Hou and Wong Pak Hio worked under the guidance of Mr. Un Kuok Chin and won the championship in the Creativity Category. Primary students Lou Pak Cheng, Lou Lok In, Che Hoi Cheng, and Hoi Sam Peng came in as the first runners-up in the Creativity Category. Under the guidance of Mr. Un Kuok Chin, Kuan Man U and Leong Hou came in as the second runners-up in the UMC Category. The student contestants also received art guidance from Mr. Wong Wai Cheong and Ms. Wong Wai I.
Students win Distinction and Merit Award in Inter-School Singing Competition2019-03-24
In the 38th Inter-School Singing Competition, Pui Ching won the Distinction Award (the highest award) in the Secondary School Category and the Merit Award for both Team A and B in the Primary School Category.
Pui Ching wins Best Organization Award in National Economics Challenge China Finals2019-03-20
The 2019 National Economics Challenge China Finals was held from March 15th to 17th. Two teams from Pui Ching consisting of 8 students stood out from over 1200 economic talents from over 130 well-known schools, making Pui Ching one of the 20 schools to win the Best Organization Award.
The National Economics Challenge is the most well-known economics competition for high school students in the United States. It is hosted by the Council for Economic Education. This is the second year the NEC is held in China and the first year the Macao region participated in the competition.
Student wins Women’s Category C championship in Inter-School Track and Field Competition2019-03-04
In the 42nd Inter-School Track and Field Competition, Junior 1D student Ms. Lam Lok Si won the championship in record-breaking time in the 100 and 200-meter Women’s Category C Running Competition. She also won the individual general championship. Senior 1B student Ms. Leng Ho I came in as the first runner-up in the 100 and 200-meter Women’s Category B Running Competition. Junior 2A student Ms. Tam Hio I came in as the first runner-up in the Women’s Category C Shot Put Competition. Primary 6B student Ms. Ip Chin Lam came in as the first runner-up in the Women’s Category D Long Jump Competition.
Students clinch championship in Letter to Santa Claus Writing Competition and Electronic Apparatus Design Competition2019-03-01
The awards ceremony for the 23rd Letter to Santa Claus Writing Competition was held today and Primary 4 student Leong Cheng Lok won the first place in Chinese Category 1. Cheng Lok recited his award-winning work in the awards ceremony. The theme of the competition this year was Food Appreciation.
The awards ceremony for the Electronic Apparatus Design Competition was held in the same sitting. The theme this year was to design an apparatus for projection. Pui Ching students won 1 first-place award, 2 second-place awards, and 1 third-place award in the Junior High and Senior High Category:
