The 3^rd International Sustainable World (Engineering Energy Environment) Project Olympiad Macao Regional Competition held its awards ceremony yesterday.

The competition consists of 34 categories. Pui Ching students Mr. Lao Sap Tou, Mr. Hoi I Sam, and Mr. Fong Hong U won the Gold Award with their Reactive Oxygen Nanoparticles Transmission System.  Mr. Xiang Yifan, Ms. Kong Sin U and Mr. Leong Wang Chon won the Silver Award with their Metal Organic Framework-Derived Bifunctional Catalyst Apparatus and Its Application in Flexible Energy Storage Devices.  Mr. Fong Chun Hei, Ms. Hui Hoi Ian and Mr. Yuen Hoi Man won the Bronze Award with their Portable Tester for Immunization to Allergens.

The 4^th Cross-Strait and Hong Kong and Macao Regional cum 8^th Macao Interschool Paper Plane Competition was held in the Macao Polytechnic Institute today. Pui Ching students won various awards.

Champions: Mr. Lin Seng Iao (Senior 3), Mr. Leong Sio Kuan (Senior 1), Mr. Lam Chi Io (Junior 3)

Best Paper Plane Design (Secondary School):

Champion: Ms. Wu Cheng Nei (Junior 1)

First Runner-Up: Ms. Chan Kuan Wai (Junior 1)

Winner of Merit Award: Mr. Sin Hio Hin (Junior 2)

Best Paper Plane Design (Primary School):

Winner of Merit Award: Mr. Lao Chon Hang (Primary 2)

Longest Flight Distance (Individual) :

Champion: Mr. Lin Seng Iao (Senior 3)

Longest Flight Distance (Group):

Second Runner-Up: Mr. Lin Seng Iao (Senior 3), Mr. Pun Ka Hoi (Senior 3), Mr. Choi Chi Chong (Senior 1)

Aerobatics:

Second Runner-Up: Mr. Choi Chi Chong (Senior 1)

Pui Ching’s students attended the World Robot Olympiad from November 15^th to 20^th.  Primary 4 students Ms. Wu Nok Ian, Ms. Kuok I Leng and Ms. Lei Pak Kio worked under the guidance of their instructors Ms. Lam Ion Mei and Mr. Lei Hoi Kan and won the Distinction Award in the WeDo Innovation Competition.  Primary 4 students Ms. Wong Chi Kei, Ms. Kou Pui Ieng and Mr. Xiang Xi Fan worked under the guidance of their instructor Mr. Sou Lok Tin and won the Distinction Award in the WeDo Regular Competition.  The two awards above are the highest awards in the competitions.

The exhibition for the 2018 Macao International Studies Center Photography Competition is held from today to November 11^th in the Lou Lim Ioc Garden. Senior 2 student Mr. Choi In Chong won the championship and the merit award in the student category.
