Lam Sio Hong Photography Exhibition opens2017-11-21

The Lam Sio Hong Photography Exhibition: Southwest America opened today at 6:30pm at the Handover Gifts Museum of Macau. The exhibition was hosted by the Macau Photography Association and sponsored by the Cultural Bureau. Principal Dr. Kam Fai Kou and president of the Pui Ching Alumni Association Mr. Mok Chi Wai were officiating guests at the event.
Mr. Lam Sio Hong was a graduate of Pui Ching. He continued his education in Taiwan and the United States after graduating from Pui Ching in 1980. He has lived in the United States for 30 years and is currently the principal software engineer of a telecommunications company. He traveled different areas of Southwest America during his studies in the United States, including the Rocky Mountains, various deserts and the Pacific coastline. During his travel, he recorded nature and the local culture with his camera. The theme of the current exhibition is Touring Southwest America: Culture, Mountains and Waters, Deserts, the Coastlines. The photographer shared his travel experience and inner world with the audience through his camera and talked about his works at the opening ceremony. He also donated some of his works on display to Pui Ching as well as charity organizations and academic institutions in Macau.
The Lam Sio Hong Photography Exhibition is held at the Handover Gifts Museum of Macau and Mr. Lam’s works will be on display from 10:00am to 7:00pm from November 22 to December 10. The museum is closed on Mondays.
Pui Ching attends National Artificial Intelligence Promotion Seminar2017-11-18

Scholars from the Bejing Bay Area and Pui Ching representatives including vice-principal Mr. Kuok Keng Man discussed the issues at the National Artificial Intelligence Promotion Seminar held in Shenzhen this morning.
Experts in the field who attended the seminar included chairman of Asia AI Alliance Dr. Kam Wai Tak, marketing director of Beijing Face++ Technology Co., Ltd. Mr. Zhang Xin, academic committee member of the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge Professor Liu Yan, NeoUnion Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization CEO Mr. Zhang Yan Feng, Beijing 11th Middle School teacher Mr. Zhu Hao Nan, etc.
Other members of Pui Ching invited to the event were alumni Ms. Fung Iok Wing and Mr. Kam Wai Tak, Guangzhou Pui Ching Middle School vice-principal Mr. Wu Zhao Dong, and Hong Kong Pui Ching Middle School director Mr. Ma Hoi Hong.
During the two-day trip, participating members also had the opportunity to visit various technology companies in the PRC. The trip not only was a step forward in the promotion of AI education, but also laid the foundation for Macao’s development as a smart city.
Evangelists visit Pui Ching from U.S.2017-10-30

We had the honor of the company of evangelists from the United States yesterday and the pleasure of giving them a tour of the school facilities such as the library, the Chinese Culture House and the Fabrication Laboratory. Principal Kou Kam Fai and Vice-Principal Kuok Keng Man were subsequently invited to the Baptist Church Worship Session in commemoration of its 30th anniversary held in the school chapel.
Pui Ching wins Green Campus Honorary Award2017-10-24

Pui Ching attended the Green Campus Award Scheme hosted by the Environmental Protection Bureau and won the 2017 Green Campus Honorary Award. In the Green Lesson Planning Contest, Pui Ching’s Director Kin Pong Lam, Ms. Suet Lin Wong, Ms. Sio Teng Chan respectively won the championship in the primary school and kindergarten category. A number of teachers also won the Merit Award in the primary school and kindergarten category.
Teachers and students come through with flying colors in Ma Wanqi Memorial Cup Table Tennis Competition2017-10-21

Pui Ching teachers and students came through with flying colors in the Macao Ma Wanqi Memorial Cup Table Tennis Team Competition. The team formed by Coach Leong Kin Wa, Coach Wong Hon Wing, Coach Tong Hiu Mou and Student Mr. Chan Chi Kio won the championship in the Advanced Category.
In the Junior Category, Pui Ching students Mr. Mak Tin Ian, Lam Chi Kio, and Sou Chon Hei came out as the first runners-up, and Ng Hei In, Tao Chong, Cheong Chon Hin, and Vong Iek Kan came out as the second runners-up.
