Pui Ching students Lei Hei I, Fong Su, Fung Chon Hei, Hoi Hoi Ian, and Leong Weng I attended the International Science and Engineering Fair in the United States as representatives of Macao.  Out of the three representing teams from Macao, two were from Pui Ching Middle School and won the Third Prize and Special Award respectively, making it the best result for Macao in history.  

In the 2019 Robofest Championship held in Detroit by St. Laurence University, Pui Ching students Mr. Kuan Man U, Mr. Tam Fai Ip, Ms. Hoi Sam Ping, Mr. Leong Hou, and Mr. Wong Pak Io won the Championship in the Exhibition as well as the Popular Invention Award. In preparation for the competition, peers of the contestants including Ms. Kung Si Nga, Ms. Lou Pak Cheng, Ms. Tse Hoi Cheng, and Mr. Lou Lok In all provided invaluable support behind the scene. The instructors of the award winners were Mr. Un Kuok Chin and Mr. Lei Hoi Kan.

In the awards ceremony for the 2019 Macao Regional Geography cum Earth Science Olympiad, Pui Ching students won the following awards:

In Geography: 4 Golds, 3 Silvers, 1 Bronze, Group Championship

In Earth Science: 1 Gold, 4 Silvers, 2 Bronzes, Group Merit

Pui Ching students Lei Hei I, Fong Su, Fung Chon Hei, Hoi Hoi Ian, and Leong Weng I attended the International Science and Engineering Fair as representatives of Macao.  The tournament is known as a cradle for Nobel Prize winners and gathered about 1850 high school students from 80 countries.  Pui Ching students Lei Hei I and Fong Su won the Third Prize with their Avinocular: An Autonomous Mobile Robot for Aircraft Inspection.  Fung Chon Hei, Hoi Hoi Ian, and Leong Weng I won the Outstanding Achievement Award for Ability and Creativity in Science and Engineering Project with their Automated Microfluidic Platform for Food Safety and Human Allergy Analysis.  Many congratulations to our award-winners!
