The guests from Zhuhai No. 1 Middle School then visited Pui Ching’s China Culture House, Innovative Science House and the library and had a tour of the collections and facilities within.

During the contract signing ceremony, Principal Kou Kam Fai introduced the school’s course of development, academic accomplishments, the students’ curricula and their outstanding achievements in post-secondary education, competitions and international exchange activities.  Principal Kou expressed that both schools are located in the Great Bay Area and share similar cultures and the same language.  A group of students from Pui Ching previously had the pleasure of engaging in academic exchange with Zhuhai No. 1 Middle School and it is hoped that teachers and students will have more of such opportunities in the future.  Lastly, Principal Kou quoted Chairman Xi Jin Ping, “The new era belongs to everyone”, to encourage students from the two schools to learn from each other, grasp the opportunities presented to them and create their own era.

Vice-Principal Zhao Xin believes that Pui Ching’s academic excellence is noteworthy.  She indicated that Zhuhai and Macao are neighbors and their cooperation has demonstrative effects.  China now has various policies such as the One Belt One Road Initiative and the Great Bay Area.  Schools shoulder the responsibility of educating the next generation and the current bond between the schools is expected to build new platforms for students.
