Pui Ching students entered for the Basic Law of Macau Wallpaper Contest and won various prizes.  The awards ceremony was held today at Tap Seac Square.  Student representatives of Primary 3C, Primary 1C, and Primary 3D cum Primary Volunteer Team respectively won the First, Second and Third Prize.  Their teachers Ms. Chan Lai Ling and Ms. Ng Wai Sin won the Excellent Instructor’s Award.

In the Secondary School Category, Senior 3A student Mr. Chan Hao Wang, Senior 3E student Mr. Wong Chi Long and Senior 2C student Ms. Ho Sok I won the Merit Award in the 2017 Basic Law Promotional Video Design Contest.

Pui Ching Middle School and Colegio de Santa Rosa de Lima played for the championship today in the Inter-School Women’s Category C Volleyball Competition.  Pui Ching won two games in succession and clinched the championship.

The Men’s Category B and Women’s Category B Inter-School Volleyball Finals were held tonight.  Pui Ching’s Men’s Volleyball Team B caught up after losing the first game to Instituto Salesiano and finally came home with the championship.  Pui Ching’s Women’s Volleyball Team B won two games in succession against the C.S.K. Perpetual Help College and clinched the championship.

Pui Ching teachers, students and parents raised MOP$ 316,322.60 (HK$ 10,235.00) during the Walk for a Million event. Vice-principal Mr. Kuok Keng Man, Vice-principal Dr. Chan Keng Lim, Director Leong Wing Tong, Director Ieong Pui Ian, Director Chan Chi Sing, Principal’s Assistant Ms. Wong Kin, Deputy director of the Parent-Teacher Association Ms. Chan Wing Ian, and President of the Student Association Ms. Ieong Sin U made the donation to the Macao Daily Reader’s Charity Foundation. 

Pui Ching teachers, students and student flag bearers participated in the Walk for a Million event and the school wind orchestra cheered the participants on during the march.
