Students enter finals at Global Natural History Day Exhibition Competition2017-05-20
Six Pui Ching students entered for the Global Natural History Day Exhibition Competition held in Hong Kong today. The topic this year was “Scales of nature: From micro to macro”. Among our contestants, Mr. Chi Lung Wong and Ms. Hio Loi Wong’s team won the opportunity to compete in the international competition held in Chongqing in July.
Students excel at Hua Luogeng Golden Cup Mathematics Invitational2017-05-20
Pui Ching students attended the 13th Hua Luogeng Golden Cup Junior Mathematics Invitational Tournament and won various awards. Their instructors Mr. Sio Meng Lao, Mr. Sio Kuan Hoi, Ms. Man Sio, and Ms. Man Sou Pang also won the Excellent Instructor’s Award. Congratulations to our teachers and students!
Students come in as first runners-up at Secondary School Debate Competition2017-05-14
The 2017 Secondary School Debate Competition was held by the Debating and Speech Culture Association of Macao. The Pui Ching Debate Team defeated its opponents by 5 to 0 in both the preliminary and final competitions, coming out as the first runner-up. In the preliminary and final competitions, the Best Debaters were Senior 3 students Ms. Zi Xuan Cheng and Ms. Ling Zi Pan respectively.
Student Network Association of Grace held inauguration ceremony 2017-05-13
The inauguration ceremony of the 2024 Student Network Association of Grace was held today. President of the Association Mr. Hou Cheng Wong delivered the opening speech. Pui Ching Principal Dr. Kam Fai Kou hosted the flag raising ceremony and addressed the audience. Among the guests of honor were the president and vice-president of the Macao Pui Ching Alumni Association, the principal of Hong Kong Pui Ching Middle School, the principal of Hong Kong Pui Ching Primary School, and the vice-presidents of the Hong Kong Pui Ching Alumni Association. Attendants of the ceremony included teachers, parents and alumni association representatives in Hong Kong and Macao.
Business—School Cooperation Program Closing Ceremony cum Micro-Film Production Competition Awards Ceremony2017-05-10
The Business—School Cooperation Program Closing Ceremony cum Micro-Film Production Competition Awards Ceremony was held this morning in the Assembly Hall at Pui Ching Middle School.
In the Business—School Cooperation Program, Pui Ching Middle School and the Macao Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) gave students the opportunity to visit the bank and interact with bankers, taking teaching and learning out of the classroom. The program allowed students to take a close look at Macao’s business-based economy and the operation of retail banking. A number of Senior 2 students at Pui Ching have also been offered the opportunity to take part in the Macao ICBC Talent Mentoring Program in July.
At the closing ceremony, students were presented with their program completion certificates. Students also had the chance to air their own micro-films and share with their peers their career plans in finance.
Pui Ching Vice-Principal Mr. Keng Man Kuok and Macao ICBC Deputy CEO Mr. Hoi Cheng expressed hopes of further cooperation between ICBC and Pui Ching in the future.
