The Macao S.A.R. Government held the 2023 Awards Ceremony for Individuals and Entities with Outstanding Achievements this afternoon at the Macao Cultural Center.  Macao Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng presented medals and certificates of merit to 28 individuals and entities in recognition of their outstanding personal achievements, contribution to society and service to Macao.  Pui Ching students Mok Hoi Fai and Lo Sio Sang were conferred the Certificate of Merit for their "Color Blindness Test Analyzer Based on Color Mixing Principles".  Our students Lao Lok Iao and Lam Iok Cheong also respectively received the Certificate of Merit.  Special thanks to Mr. Wu Chon Meng, Ms. Min Hao Nian, and Ms. Lam Sao Lan for providing guidance to our students.

The 2023-2024 Macao Student Rope Skipping Competition, organized by the Macao Rope Skipping Sport Promotion Association, took place on January 13^th and 14^th.  Our school achieved excellent results, winning a total of 17 gold, 11 silver, and 10 bronze medals.  For the individual all-around awards, we received 2 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals.

In the 2023-2024 Inter-School Volleyball Championship Match, our Men’s Group B Volleyball Team A defeated Colegio Diocesano de Sao Jose 5 in straight sets (25:17, 25:21), securing a five-year winning streak in the Men's Group B category.

In an earlier match for the third place, our Men's Group B Volleyball Team B also emerged victorious.  In this year's Inter-School Volleyball Competition, our school won both the championship and the third place in the Men's Group B category.

Furthermore, our Women's Group A Volleyball Team A and Women's Group B Volleyball Team A won their respective matches in the semifinals. They respectively defeated our own team B and Macau Baptist College with scores of 3:1 (25:6, 24:26, 25:13, 25:12) and 2:0 (25:12, 25:9), advancing to the championship match.  Follow the upcoming matches for more exciting news on the Inter-School Volleyball Competition!

Student members of the Pui Ching Library and Information Society formed the “Legal Team” and participated in the 2023 “The Constitution and the Basic Law” School Promotion Program Competition.  Our students stood out from nearly forty teams across Macau, winning the championship.  Director Lao Wai Man received the Advisor’s Award.
