Pui Ching students excel at 48th Geneva International Inventions Exhibition2023-05-04
The 48th Geneva International Inventions Exhibition opened on April 26th at the Palexpo Convention Center in Geneva, Switzerland. The exhibition showcased over 1,000 inventions from more than 800 exhibitors representing 40 countries.
Two student projects from Macao Pui Ching Middle School were featured in the competition, including an automatic traffic signal control system based on real-time traffic flow and a personal road condition detection device. Both projects were received well at the exhibition, winning the gold award and bronze award respectively and garnering attention from the media.
During the exhibition, the student contestants also had the opportunity to introduce their projects to Ambassador Wang Shiting, the Chinese Ambassador to Switzerland. The experience broadened the students’ horizons and provided a platform for the students to showcase their innovative inventions. Our award winners are as follows:

Pui Ching becomes sister schools with Zilanghu Experimental School of Nantong City2023-04-26
Vice-Principal Kuok Keng Man and teachers of Pui Ching visited Nantong City of Jiangsu Province from April 23rd to 26th. Pui Ching Middle School and Zilanghu Experimental School of Nantong City signed a cooperative agreement and became sister schools. It is expected that the partnership will broaden students’ horizons and enhance student learning experience by promoting academic exchanges, subject collaboration, and the sharing of teacher experience.
Men's Volleyball Team clinches championship in inter-school competition2023-04-26
In the finals for the 46th Inter-School Men's Category B Volleyball Competition, our volleyball team outplayed Colégio Diocesano de São José (5ª) with a score of 2-0, clinching the second championship in inter-school volleyball competitions this year.
21 students win championships in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Fencing Friendly Match2023-04-25
The 2022-2023 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Fencing Friendly Match was held at Pui Ching Middle School from April 22nd to 23rd. Over 500 athletes participated in the event, including 61 teams from Macao, Hong Kong, and Guangdong Province. Pui Ching won a total of 21 gold medals, 30 silver medals, and 36 bronze medals in the group competitions and a total of 2 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 13 bronze medals in the individual competitions.
Alumni association founded for 2023 graduating class of Hong Kong Pui Ching Primary School2023-04-24
Teachers and students of Macao Pui Ching Middle School attended the founding ceremony for the alumni association of the 2023 graduating class of Hong Kong Pui Ching Primary School. The two schools took part in a friendly volleyball match in the morning. Our students were given a tour of the facilities of Hong Kong Pui Ching Middle School, including the school TV station, smart classrooms, and STEM rooms. Our students also had the opportunity to be a part of the school’s feature curricula and participate in a golf class. Students of the two schools bonded over the fun-filled activities and learned much from each other.
