Student performance of Shezhai Nursery Rhymes clinches Distinction Award in Inter-School Dance Competition2025-05-04

The 43rd Inter-School Dance Competition for the Primary School Division was held today at the University of Macao. Young dancers from Pui Ching performed the folk dance, Shezhai Nursery Rhymes, and won the Distinction Award.
Inauguration ceremony kicks off student society for 2032 graduating class 2025-05-03

The inauguration ceremony for the student society of the 2032 graduating class was held this afternoon. Following Pui Ching’s tradition, all fifth-grade students became new members of the student society.
The ceremony commenced at 2:30pm. The president of the student society, Lei U Kio delivered the opening speech, highlighting the society’s core value of "respect". She encouraged everyone to maintain a reverence for knowledge, friendship, and life in their quest for learning. Principal Kou then unveiled the society's flag and explained the meaning of the character "respect" using a classical text, encouraging students to respect teachers and cherish friendships as they strive for success. President Lo Chi Hou of the Macao Pui Ching Student Association discussed the historical origins and the value of the society’s traditions. The ceremony marked the first gathering of the presidents of the Student Association from Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macao.
After the ceremony, members of the student society staged an original musical, Symphony of Time and Space: Melodies of the Future, which had been in preparation for two months. The production integrated technological effects and elements of diverse cultures, showcasing the new generation's aspirations for the future through a time-travel narrative. The performance featured poetry recitals, martial arts dances, and original songs. The performance received high praise from the guests and parents, ending the ceremony on a memorable note.
In the morning, Pui Ching Primary School students from Hong Kong and Macao participated in a basketball competition, while guests and teachers visiting from various regions toured the campus.
Women’s Basketball Team B clinches championship2025-04-30

In the 2024-2025 Inter-School Women’s Division B Basketball Competition, Pui Ching entered the finals with an undefeated record and faced off against Keang Peng School. With a final score of 46:22, Pui Ching clinched the victory, winning the championship.
"My Zero Carbon Citizen Initiative" featured in book launch event2025-04-22

The book launch event for My Zero Carbon Citizen Initiative, produced by Pui Ching Middle School and published by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, was held today at 5:00pm at the Macao Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion.
The book features the creative works of 201 students from kindergarten to Grade 12 from Pui Ching Middle School. It includes artwork and essays that authentically capture the students' journey toward a low-carbon lifestyle, addressing topics such as daily energy-saving practices, carbon neutrality certification, and reflections on the impact of consumer behavior on the environment.
During the event, student representatives Lam Hoi Cheng, Man U Ian, and Lam Chi U shared their experiences as authors. Following the presentations, a signing session took place, drawing a large crowd of readers as well as teachers and students from Pui Ching, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.

To optimize teaching and learning, we are now recruiting for various positions for the 2025-2026 academic year, including primary and secondary school teachers across all subjects, teachers for extended preschool and primary school programs, laboratory managers, and support staff. Candidates should demonstrate passion for teaching, hold a Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field, demonstrate strong work ethics and a positive mentality, have good communication and language skills, and be able to work well in a team. Preference will be given to those with teaching experience, higher academic qualifications, or experience guiding students in international or regional competitions.Specific requirements are as follows:
Primary School Teachers:
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree, a teaching qualification in primary education, and a strong academic record; teaching experience or higher qualifications are preferred.
- Teachers of Chinese must be fluent in Mandarin.
- Teachers of English must be fluent in English and possess good written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Teachers of Mathematics should have strong logical reasoning and programming skills. Familiarity with Python and C++ is preferred.
- Teachers of Integrated Studies should have good programming skills and innovative thinking abilities. Candidates should be ready to embrace challenges. Familiarity with Python and C++ is preferred.
Secondary School Teachers:
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree; preference will be given to those with a master's or doctoral degree.
- Teachers of Chinese must be fluent in Mandarin.
- Teachers of English must be fluent in English and possess good written and spoken communication skills in English. Candidates who have taught IELTS-related courses or scored 8 or above on IELTS are preferred.
- Teachers of Mathematics and AI Mathematics should have strong logical reasoning and programming skills. Preference is given to candidates who are able to teach programming-related subjects, guide students in research projects, or are familiar with Python and C++.
- Teachers of Business Studies should have a background in Economics, Business, Statistics, etc. Preference is given to candidates with good spoken and written English skills, quantitative analysis skills, and experience with mathematical or economic modeling.
- Teachers of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology should possess strong logical reasoning and programming skills. Preference is given to candidates who are able to guide students in research projects and the publication of research papers.
- Teachers of Design and Science should possess innovative thinking abilities and be ready to embrace challenges. Fluency in English, experience in designing middle school Design and Science (STEAM) curricula, and the ability to provide training to students in after-school STEAM programs are preferred. Priority is given to candidates who are able to guide students in innovative research projects and those who possess experience in the development of lesson plans, syllabi, and assessment systems for STEAM curricula.
- Teachers of Information Technology should have innovative thinking abilities and be ready to embrace challenges. Familiarity with Python and C++ and the ability to conduct programming courses for all grades are required. Preference is given to candidates who are able to train students for international competitions and those who can provide guidance to students in innovative research projects.
Teachers of Extended Preschool and Primary School Programs:
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree; those with qualifications in primary education or early childhood education are preferred.
- Fluency in Mandarin or English is required. Preference is given to candidates who are able to conduct activities related to conversational English, art, programming, or other topics.
- Candidates should be caring, passionate about teaching, and able to address individual differences among young students. Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong work ethics and a positive mentality, be able to work well in a team, and exhibit reliability, diligence, and resilience in their work.
Laboratory Managers:
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field; a master's or doctoral degree is preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory operations and management is required. Candidates should be able to independently manage laboratory work.
- Candidates should be able to work well in a team, possess good communication skills and analytical skills, and demonstrate reliability, diligence, and resilience in their work.
- Candidates should be aware of current trends in technology, be independent learners, and be committed to ongoing improvement of their work.
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant laboratory management certifications.
Support Staff:
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree; those with a master's or doctoral degree are preferred.
- Candidates must be fluent in Mandarin and English and possess good written and spoken communication skills in English. Preference will be given to candidates who can handle English documentation.
- Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong work ethics and a positive mentality, be able to work well in a team, and exhibit reliability, diligence, and resilience in their work.
