The 2017 National Technology Week and the 2017 Science Open Day held by the Shenzhen Technology Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences had their joint opening ceremony in Shenzhen today.  The theme was “Science, innovation and education”.

In the seminar on Science Education in the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Big Bay Area following the opening ceremony, the principal of Macao Pui Ching Middle School Dr. Kam Fai Kou, the principal of Hong Kong Pui Ching Middle School, and the principal of Guangzhou Pui Ching Middle School engaged in an exchange on science education in the different regions.  Dr. Kam Fai Kou introduced general education in science in Macao as well as technology education and the STEM curriculum in Pui Ching (Macao), and Senior 1 student Ms. Ian Iong Lam introduced the school’s Underwater Robotics Team.
