Students win Gold and Silver in Thailand Inventor’s Exposition2019-02-06

The Thailand Inventor’s Exposition was held in Bangkok from February 2nd to 6th.  Three teams involving a total of 7 students attended the event, making Pui Ching the school with the greatest number of contestant teams among all schools.  A total of 26 countries and regions attended the exposition.  Student contestants from Pui Ching won 1 Gold, 2 Silvers, the Philippines Outstanding Invention Award, and 12 Special Recommendation Awards.

 

Ms. Leong Weng I and Mr. Un Hoi Man invented the Portable Tester of Immunity to Allergensunder the guidance of their instructors Ms. Io Hio Fai and Ms. Leong Ieng Ieng and won the Gold Award and the Special Recommendation Award from Canada, India, Indonesia and Taiwan.

 

Mr. Wu Kuan Choi, Mr. Chan Man Hei, and Ms. Wong Hoi Ian invented the Tea-Extracted Oxygen Reduction Catalyst as Applied to Zinc-Air Fuel Cells under the guidance of their instructor Mr. Chan Ka Kong and won the Silver Award, the Philippines Outstanding Invention Award, and the Special Recommendation Award from China, the U.K., Malaysia, Sudan, and Taiwan. 

 

Ms. Kong Sin U and Mr. Xiang Yi Fan studied the development and application of Dual-Function MOF Derivative Catalyst to Zinc-Air Fuel Cells under the guidance of Mr. Chan Ka Kong and won the Silver Award and the Special Recommendation Award from India, the Philippines and Taiwan.
