The exhibition for the 2018 Macao International Studies Center Photography Competition is held from today to November 11^th in the Lou Lim Ioc Garden. Senior 2 student Mr. Choi In Chong won the championship and the merit award in the student category.

Junior 2 students Mr. Chao Ka Wang and Mr. Ma Cho Lam attended the 2018 Water and Life Short Film Appreciation held by the Macao Waterworks and won the championship with their Water Storage Suggestions during Typhoons.  The number of votes they received exceeded the sum of the votes received by all other contestants.  Mr. Chao and Mr. Ma worked under the guidance of their teacher Mr. Ieong U Hang.

Seven secondary and primary school students attended the International Ideas, Inventions, Novelties Exhibition in Nuremburg, Germany and performed with flying colors.

Senior 2 students Mr. Wong Hou Wang and Mr. Mok Hoi Chon won the Gold Award with their Optometrist’s Helper in Testing Myopia designed under the instruction of Ms. Kou Wing Si; at the same time, Junior 1 students Mr. Hoi Wa Tang and Mr. Ho Chon Teng also received the Gold Award for their 3D Sanitizer.  Primary 6 students Mr. Ku Hio Tong and Mr. Lam Lok Hei respectively won the Silver Award with their Parking Space Optimization System and Eye Protector.  Junior 1 student Mr. Sio Kei Chon won the Bronze Award with his Smart Walking Stick.  The Junior 1 and Primary 6 students all worked under the instruction of Ms. Chan Sio Ting and Ms. Leong Chi Kuan.

The five inventions were also entered for the 11^th International Innovation Festival and won five Gold Medals.  Instructor Mr. Ma Yiu Kon received the Technology Invention Education Award.

In the Next BMW Designer 2018, Senior 1 student Ms. Hoi I Sam won the championship with her PASSION in the Aged 13-15 Category. This year is the first year the competition is open to Macao schools. Ms. Hoi will be visiting the BMW factory in Germany in 2019. Her instructor is Mr. Ng Wing Kei.

Senior 1 student Mr. Chan Man Hei, Junior 3 student Mr. Sin Ka Chon, and Primary 5 student Mr. Chan Pak In came in among the top 10 places in the competition.
